The Pressroom News
Leadership Properties, the development group behind the Scissortail and Oak Tree neighborhoods in Benton County, has started infrastructure work on another master-planned neighborhood.
Aurora Development Co. is the landowner. It’s managed by Bob David and Julie Vaught, the principles of Leadership Properties. Aurora, which includes additional investors, acquired the land in August for $1.82 million. An LLC owned exclusively by David and Vaught was the seller.
Aurora is situated on roughly 72 acres on South Morning Star Road in Bentonville, south of Windmill Road. It will feature three neighborhoods with 245 lots. They are called Horizon (123 lots), Halo (94) and Harmony (28). David said home prices will likely range from $289,000 to $450,000.
